Register for Mentafy

Getting started with Mentafy is easy! If you are a student whose institution uses Mentafy and you have been instructed by your teacher to register an account, please use the URL provided to you. If you have not received a link or require further assistance, kindly contact your teacher for support. If you are interested in trying out Mentafy, simply navigate to https://my.mentafy.com. Once you land of Mentafy, you can sign up using the method that's best for you:

• Email: Your classic sign-up option.
• Google Sign-in: Connect quickly with your Google account.
• Microsoft Sign-in: Use your Microsoft account for a fast sign-up.

Pick your preferred method and you'll be set up in no time!

Create Project

1. Click on the Create tile.

2. Enter the required information: Project name and deadline. (You can set the deadline now or later.)

   Some advanced options are available:

   • Topic→ Add the name of the topic for your writing project.
   • Project Briefing → If you received any template or instructions from your institution, you can copy and paste it here. </aside>

3. You can choose a preferred way you would want to work with Mentafy

   1. Option 1: Mentafy Full Experience → Connect your Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive.

      1. Google Drive: Write directly in Google Docs.
      2. Microsoft OneDrive: Write directly in Microsoft Word.

   2. Option 2: Writing Assessment → This uses the Mentafy MS Word Add-In. → Available only for Microsoft Word (Desktop & Online both) No cloud permission is required. Use Mentafy instantly within Microsoft Word.

Connecting Your Main Document (Mentafy Add-In)

After selecting the Mentafy Add-In as your preferred way of writing, you'll need to connect a main document. Here's how:

1. In your dashboard, click on either:
   • Mentafy Add-in for Microsoft Word Desktop
   • Mentafy Add-in for Microsoft Word Online
